To kick off the summer we are offering all of our dog training classes at a discounted rate – only $100 for 4 weeks of training! Come in to polish up your skills, fine tune your pups manners, and learn new ways to strengthen the bond between you and your furry best friend.
-Basic Obedience : The next class will begin on May 23rd and will meet every Monday at 7:30 pm. This course covers beginning and intermediate skill levels with sit, down, stay, come, off, loose leash walking, proper greetings, boundaries, resource guarding and many other training tips. If interested, the Canine Good Citizens test can also be taken at the end of the course for dogs that are ready for the next level.
-Puppy Training: The next class will begin on June 7th and will meet every Tuesday at 7:30 pm. This course is designed for puppies up to 4 months old. The rabies vaccination is not required. This class will lay the foundation for raising a well behaved pup and will cover sit, down, place, wait, socializing, potty training, jumping, chewing, biting and any other issues the little curious ones are experiencing.
-Nose Work: The next class will begin on Saturday June 4th and will meet every Saturday at 11 am. This course is great for any breed and skill level to learn how to sniff out objects such as treats, bones, keys and even people! It’s a fun way to connect with your dog by introducing new experiences and added stimulation to their day. Since the activities can be done indoors or outdoors, you can exercise your dog’s mind at any time of day.
-Life Saving: Course start date TBD, call or email to sign up for the next class. This course will cover life savings skills such as sit, recall, stay, leave it and getting the dogs to focus on their handler during stressful or emergency situations.
-Leash Walking: Course start date TBD, call or email to sign up for the next class. This course will curb the leash pulling issues and encourage leisurely walks while triggers such as children, bikers and skateboarders are happening around you. The last class will meet for a group on-leash walk at the park.
