 Puppy Social Hour: Tuesday, February 21st at 7:30pm. Tanja will be heading up the puppy training this month with a one-time social hour to get the pups socialized, and answer any questions you have about upcoming puppy class, potty training, crate training and more! Social Hour is $15 per puppy.

Puppy Preschool: Saturdays at 11:00am starting February 25th. For puppies up to 6 months. Tanja is excited to offer a Star Puppy Class for Barley’s clients! Puppy preschool will cover all the basics you and your pup need, as well as a social experience for them to learn dog communication and more! Class is $125 for 5 weeks.

Canine Connection: Wednesdays at 7:30pm starting February 8th. For dogs 8 months and up. Suzy knows this course will help you build a better bond with your pooch by enhancing their recall skills, adding nose work activities to their schedule (especially helpful during those cold, rainy/snowy days!) and encouraging the dogs to focus on their handler during high distraction situations. Class is $125 for 5 weeks.

Basic Obedience: Saturdays at 9:30am starting February 11th. For dogs 8 months and up. Basic obedience is new and improved with new Barley’s trainer Tanja teaching the class. Class will cover everything your dog needs, to be the best they can be. Sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, recall, and more! $125 for 5 weeks

Clicks and Tricks Part 1: Saturday, February 11th at 11:00am. This 2 part workshop taught by Tanja will teach you how to use a clicker to better communicate with your dog in a universal language that they will be able to understand. Part one is a basic introduction of what a clicker is, how to use it the right way. $25 per dog.

Clicks and Tricks Part 2: Saturday, February 18th at 11:00am. Now that your dog is conditioned to the clicker, it’s time to have some fun! We will teach you how to train your dog to do all sorts of amazing tricks, using the clicker to mark the exact behavior you are looking for. Clicks and Tricks Part 1 is a prerequisite to take Part 2. $20 per dog.

Boredom Busters Workshop: Monday, February 13th at 7:30pm. Help your dog ward off the winter blues by discussing and practicing activities for indoor playtime and those times your dog is home alone. Well mannered dogs are welcome to join us, please bring them on a standard leash and a collar/harness. $25 per dog.

Loose Leash Workshop: Thursday, February 16th at 7:30pm. Does your dog pull you when you’re on a walk? Leslie created this workshop to help teach those excessive pullers how to walk nicely, without dragging you down the street. $25 per dog.

Jumpers Anonymous Workshop: Thursday, February 23rd at 7:30pm Compulsive Jumpers wanted! Leslie aims to teach your dog how to greet people politely with their feet on the floor, instead of on the guests. Learn to create boundaries with your dog, and teach them a proper greeting. $25 per dog

 Don’t Move a Muscle, Stay! Workshop: Saturday, February 25th at 1:00pm. Stay means stay! In this workshop, Leslie will be teaching you how to communicate with you dog that stay means stay where you are, no matter what! $25 per dog.

 Intro to Tricks Workshop: Saturday, February 25th at 2:30pm. Sit Pretty! Roll Over! Shake! Intro to tricks will teach you the fundamentals to turn your dog into an all-star! Leslie is coming prepared with lots of treats, praise and excitement to get your dog using their brain and turn them into a trick pro. $25 per dog.

Power Steering: How Do Training Tools Work and Why? Seminar: Monday, February 27th at 7:30pm. This FREE SEMINAR is open to all who can attend. Have you ever wondered why some trainers choose harnesses over collars? Leslie, Tanja and Suzy want to show you how each and every training tool works, and why they are used for different circumstances. We will cover the use of every tool, from collars to harnesses to e-collars. The seminar is Free! Please come without your dog.
